Khairani Barokka is an Indonesian writer, artist, and arts and disability advocate, whose poetry, fiction and nonfiction has been published in the US, Australia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She’s performed spoken word and performance art in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the US, and Australia, and taught for a variety of international partners. She was Emerging Writers Festival’s (AUS) Inaugural International Writer-In-Residence for 2013, and is excited to do her first solo show in her hometown.
